God has given us a mandate in Matthews 28:19-20, that we are to make disciples of all nations. We are commanded to baptize them and teach them to observe Jesus’ commands. Life Builders Christian Center (LBCC) will fulfill that mandate. We believe that God will use LBCC to introduce people to new life through a relationship with Jesus Christ. One way we will fulfill the mandate is by establishing various forms of evangelistic outreach.

We also believe God will direct our ministerial efforts such that they cater to those whose lives are broken, and are in ultimate need of a Master Potter, the Holy Spirit. Specifically, we believe God has called LBCC to reach those who have become spiritually wounded, emotionally broken, or otherwise downtrodden. LBCC will be an assembly where the aforementioned individuals can find healing and restoration. LBCC will be an assembly where they can find Godly council, and experience spiritual and emotional reconstruction by the Master Potter.

The Bible illustrates that the saints of God are to live victorious and successful spiritual lives in Christ. Therefore, God will use LBCC as a place where the saints of God are provided sound Biblical teaching, and encouragement which, when accompanied by the power of the Holy Spirit, will enable the saints to experience victorious Christian living. LBCC parishioners will be equipped to be all that God has called them to be. Ephesians 4: 11 reflects that God orchestrated ministerial offices for the “equipping of the saints for the work of ministry….” Therefore, LBCC will serve as an equipping station for believers where they will develop the tools needed to perform the work of ministry on an individual level as well as on a corporate level.

In sum, God has given us a spiritual mandate to win lost souls, minister healing to the broken, and provide Biblically sound instruction and council to perpetuate positive change and a life of spiritual balance and achievement. We will feed the hungry, provide drink to the thirsty, provide shelter to the homeless, clothe the naked, and visit the sick and imprisoned, all according to Matthew 25:34-46. We will allow the Lord to heal and restore the backslider and the spiritually fragmented through us. We will see people as Jesus sees them. At LBCC, our aim is to be a multi-race and multi-ethnic assembly. No person will be turned away because of their race, ethnicity, gender, or socio-economic status. We will exude love (I John 4:7-8) and we will not limit God.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 – “Then the Lord answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
